Last week, director Kurt Mattila came by to film some material for an Avatar documentary he's working on. Here's a short excerpt taken that day of Jeremy playing an old Hunan folk song on the guzheng.

An Avatar: The Last Airbender documentary? Sounds cool to me! Any more information on when we'll be able to see it in its entirety?
sorry, i don't know the release date. the people who are behind it are great so it should be very cool...
I loved the music that was written for Avatar! It's so wonderful. What is the name of the piece that was used for Sozin's Comet, the episode Azula and Zuko fight an Agni Kai? I would love to have it.
i love the Avatar music through all seasons....is there ever going to be a soundtrack or something for it?
hey tanya! that cue is titled 'Last Agna Kai'.
kevin, there's no soundtrack available yet but we're trying to get nick to release one...
Could we get more information on this 'documentary?' :D
hey glitch. the bits we saw of it were awesome. lots of good behind the scenes stuff done in a very entertaining way. i think the fans will really enjoy it. should be coming out soon... sorry i don't have more specific info!
I really love all of the instrumentals you guys create and I can't wait for a soundtrack to come out!
I'm glad that you guys are working on an Avatar documentary even when the show ended in 2008. Can't wait to see it and I'm always eagerly awaiting for any news on a soundtrack release :D
You guys did amazing with the Avatar music! I especially love the scene where Sokka is listening to the girl present her poem and you hear that beautiful guzheng in the background! Well done, can't wait for the soundtrack!
Hey! I'm a Really Big fan of you guys' work. But I'm a little disappointed that you guys don't have any of the music from Avatar: The Last Airbender for sale. I believe a lot of people would be interested in buying some of the original score from the cartoon, especially because of the great job you guys did and how smooth the music locked in with the mood of the show. It would be great if you guys could find your recordings of some of the things you did for the show and put it on an album.
You know, they don't have the rights to release the music. Nick is the rightsholder of the Avatar soundtrack and as long as they don't do it, we won't get it. Oh, the soundtrack would be an instant buy for me. Lossless digital or CD.
I absolutely LOVED the music for the Avatar series. I especially loved the song right at the end of the last episode when Aang and Katara were kissing. Could someone PLEASE tell me what it's called?
Love the instramental music to Avatar.Hmmm where to begin. The crazy tyko drums during the crossroads of destiny. The music when toph was scaming people for their money.Uncle Irohs "leaves from the vine" during season two.If you do release a sound track can you also include B sides on a second disk that were not released in the show (Ex.Comic con Season 3 premire that was on your myspace.) I think I speak for us fans of the series and that is we would like a whole compilation cd of your work.P.S we all ready have a petition for the soundtrack if that helps
Hey, "The Track Team", I am a huge fan of the Avatar series. The music composed for it is phenomenal. I was wondering if there was any sheet music for it, and if there was, you could possible send it to me? And if not, when could it possibly released?
music--ya, I'd buy it.
Please release a soundtrack - It would make a lot of money. :)
JESSE, the song with Katara and Aang is called "The Avatar's Love." Otherwise known as the Kataang Theme.
Hey guys I saw the documentary. You all were great. Did you take the splinter out from your hand Jeremy? LOL! I like the part where you guys decided to have live strings on the studio. Did you guys really use your own budget for it? Hopefully, the studio can release your AMAZING music for us to listen very soon..
Absolutely stunning work for the series. I would pay an arm and a leg for a compilation of all the music from the series, and any others you think would be good to have on too: I think a petition for the release is in order, I'm sure there is a lot of money in it.
